Personal OS – Google Drive
A personal Google Drive connection for managing your own documents and data files locally.

What does it do?
Personal OS – Google Drive is a connection configured for personal use between Google Drive and locally running Personal OS workflows. It uses rclone to list and download files accessible through the user’s own Google account, and to upload and synchronise local files.
Gábor Nagy uses this connection to manage his own documents and data files. There is no public registration. This page on the Limitless Logic website describes the integration; file operations take place between the local environment and Google.
How does it work?
- The user grants access on Google’s own sign-in and consent screens.
- The local rclone installation connects to Google Drive using an access token. The integration does not request or store the Google account password.
- Local commands and configured workflows copy, import or synchronise the selected files.
What access does it use?
The current connection uses the full Google Drive drive permission. This technically allows it to read, create, modify and delete Drive files accessible to the account, except for the application data folder.
Selecting a folder in a workflow does not restrict the permission at Google’s API level: the authorised access is broader. The operations actually performed depend on the local rclone commands and automations.
